The Other Chicken and Egg problem

Three chickens lay three eggs in three days.
How many eggs will six chickens lay in six days?

Alin, do you receive this empirically on your chicken farm?

Here is the "theoretical deduction approach" for those who do not own such farm:

3 chickens lay 3 eggs in 3 days
so, assuming that they all participate, the egg laying speed for 1 chicken is:
1 egg in 3 days
making it 2 eggs in 6 days

and if you have 6 chickens, then 6 x 2 = 12 eggs
